DescriptionThis course has been designed for students with an extremely strong interest in the music industry. Students will gain an insight into the sectors and career opportunities within the music industry, they will be able to explain how the music industry works in the local community, identify music styles, production processes and promotional opportunities, write a song, gain basic skills in performance and technology practice, demonstrate appropriate health, safety and security procedures and work with others to organise a music act or event. For students to complete the full Certificate III, it is a 2 year course. Students can withdraw after the first year and be accredited with the units completed.
